The Right Hand of the Lord

Have you ever thought about what happens at the right hand of Christ?  As you look at these scriptures, consider them as promises to pray for your life and qualities to worship and praise the Lord for.

Reigns “So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into   heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.” Mark 16:19

Inheritance – “All the nations will be gathered before Him … He will separate               them from one another… he will say to those on His right, Come you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you.” Matthew 25:32-34

Conquers“The Lord says to my Lord; sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.” Psalm 110:1

Majestic“Your right hand, O Lord is majestic in power.” Exodus 15:6

Strength – “Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” Psalm 16:8

Judgment“You stretched out your right hand, the earth swallowed them.”  Exodus 15:12

Promises“The Lord has sworn by His right hand and by His strong arm.”  Isaiah 62:8

Victory “His right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him.” Psalm 98:1

Power“And Jesus said, I am; and you shall see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.” Mark 14:62

Intercedes“Christ Jesus is He who died, yes rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.” Romans 8:34

Rescues“That Your beloved may be delivered, save with Your right hand, and answer us.” Psalm 60:5

Sustains“Your right hand upholds me.” Psalm 63:8

Refuge“O Savior of those who take refuge at Your right hand.”  Psalm 17:7

Exalted“The right hand of the Lord is exalted.” Psalm 118:16

Worthy – “Who is worthy to open the book … The Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book … and He came, and He took it out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.” Revelation 5:2, 5, 7

Fearless“The right hand of the Lord does valiantly.” Psalm 118:16
